its been a few days... i've got a little backlog going and have wanted/been meaning to write and post some new pictures, but alas, the internet does not always provide and there is not always time. took a little detour through the current home of the dalai lama, mcleod ganj after revisiting khajjiar and now manali.

yesterday we left the hotel when the cnn analysis was saying "we are looking at florida!". our cab was waiting and we had to leave. we spent the whole day not knowing who the president was. we went to see parasailers jump off the top of a mountain. it wasn't until when we got back to the hotel to see the news that we realized how incredibly nervous we were. the internet access here in mcleod ganj is not the best, so i haven't been posting much but we're off to manali day after tomorrow so i will have some pictures from the last few days in dalhousie, mcleod ganj, palampour and parasailing to add.

one of the craziest, white knuckle drives of all time. 10k on a non-road all the way up to the top of a mountain. shepherds, rocks, snow, newborn sheep, smoke, more smoke, shrines, waterfalls.
